(L)
2 - 3

(L)
0 - 4

(W)
2 - 1

Northwich- Josh Francis(2).
Whitchurch- Dwayne Jones and Jack Griffiths.

In conditions more akin to ducks the juniors certainly justified their coaches belief in their potential. The Northwich game was very much even stevens and Wrexham were pipped at the post, against a strong Rochdale touring team size told in the heavy rain. Dampened shirts but not spirits resulted in a thrilling encounter against Whitchurch with Wrexham deservedly sneaking home.

Widnes (L)

U9's
-Lost 10-1 Try Scorer- Dwayne Jones.

Sometimes scores can be misleading..... but not on this occasion. Despite heroic efforts from the home side, Widnes proved too strong for the effervescent youngsters. There is undoubted quality in the home side and I am sure that with experience they will have their day.
