14th March 2003 Colwyn Bay (W)
48 - 19

Hope you are OK - Colwyn bay fielding an improved side over last season were unable to withstand the organised play of this strong Wrexham squad. Consistent attack resulted in Wrexham dominating this game. Colwyn Bay took advantage of a couple of lapses in concentration to put their well deserved points on the board.

Wrexham 48 Colwyn Bay 19

Try Scorers: Daniel Sissons 1, Jake Edwards 3
David Blackwell 3, Gwyn Edwards 1
Conversions: Gwyn Edwards 2, Kieran Morris 2

29th February 2003 Northwich (W)
29 - 10

A hard fought game in good condition. Northwich put up a good clean squad which were held by Wrexham.

Trys by:
Jake Edwards 3, David Blackwell 1 & Robert Moore 1
Conversions: Kenny Simms 2

14th December 2003 Llandudno (L)
0 - 26

Another lackluster appearance by a normally strong Wrexham squad. In what appeared to be a very one-sided game only a handful of Wrexham players were determined not to go under. Some of the squad will need to re-think their commitment to the game if a return to past form is to be attained. Certainly beaten by a better and stronger team on the day.

7th December 2003 Caldy  (W)
24 - 12

Wrexham u14's seemed to lack their usual commitment in this first encounter with the Wirral side. Although taking the game at 24 - 12 Wrexham did not seem to have the spirit normally associated with this squad. Caldy certainly looked like the side that wanted to win. Their persistence and determination wearing down a lack lustre defence. Caldy deserved more of the points.

Wrexham tries: 2 Gwyn Edwards,  1 Morgan & Kenny Simms 1. Conversions: 2 by Gwyn Edwards

23rd November 2003 Colwyn Bay (W)
95 - 5

After a long break a strong Wrexham side ran out determined.

26th October 2003 Nant Conwy

Rhyl

(W)
(L)

No report filed: Wrexham recorded a win against Nant Conwy and a loss against Rhyl

12th October 2003 Ruthin (W)
56- 38

Starting with only 14 men Wrexham struggled to hold a strong home side. Determination and steel proved Wrexham's savior in cold blustery conditions. 56 - 38 reflected the tension, with both sides not fully capable of stopping an organised attack. Down to 13 men in the second half Wrexham refused to be overrun. Kieran Morris certainly showed his kicking skill with 100% accuracy with eight conversions. Wrexham tries by Gwyn Edwards 4, Davis Blackwell 3, & Robert Moore.

5th October 2003 Sandbach (L)
31 - 7

Another week on and Wrexham u14's are still under strength. Injuries at last weeks Llandudno game depleted the Wrexham side even further. With players now having to rapidly master other positions, Wrexham battled bravely but were overcome by a well drilled and determined visiting side. Wrexham's only try was put down by Gwyn Edwards & converted by Kerian Morris

21st September 2003 Llandudno (W)
34 - 22

An under strength Wrexham side ran out against a determined  Llandudno squad in fine autumn conditions. Wrexham, due to early season injuries, could only start with 14 players so were brought to fifteen by the gracious loan of a player. In a good natured, clean hard fought battle and after two more Wrexham players were retired due to injuries, Wrexham won 34 - 22. With three tries from Gwyn Edwards,  two from David Blackwell & three conversions from Keiron Morris

Special mention to Jack Evans & Owen Willington. Hoping both of you recover soon.

14th September 2003 Caernarfon (W)
0 - 62

Running out for the first time this season at Caernarfon Wrexham u14's were well prepared & ready.

Up against a mixed side of new and experienced players Wrexham's discipline soon showed through. 0 - 62 was no disgrace for the hosts against the well drilled visitors.

Wrexham's trys were put done by David Blackwell (3), Gwyn Edwards(3), Owen Willington (2) and Jake Edwards(2). Keiron Morris managed 4 conversions in quite breezy conditions.

A good display of determination was shown by Caernarfon as they did not let their heads drop and continued to attack at every opportunity right up to the final whistle.
