What a day Wrexham had! Everyone played really good rugby.
From kick-off Christian chalk made a good run to open Wrexham's account then Declan Simms ran in a further 2 trys. Christian Chalk touched down again followed by George Cheesbrough and Jordan Davies, Dwayne Jones converted 2, Jack Griffiths converted 1. Dolgellau played really well keeping Wrexham on there toes, running in 2 well deserved try's with 1 conversion near the end of the game. Very well done lads keep it up |
| 11th January 2003 | Pwllheli | (L) 54 - 0 |
A tired & demoralized side ran out against the Pwllheli u12's. This visiting squad forms the backbone of the North Wales district u12 who have preformed well in most the the inter-district clashes so far. No disgrace to loose to a well drilled and organised squad. Well done Pwllheli |
| 11th January 2003 | Mold | (L) 19 - 0 |
Giving away ground in the first half was Wrexham's downfall today. Allowing 3 tries before the break. The situation was rescued in the second half as determination focused the Wrexham squad, who held the visitors to 19 - 0. If only the home side would have run out at the start with the same determination! |
| 4th January 2003 | Nant Conwy | (L) 10 - 5 |
Mathew Thomas forced Wrexham's hard won try against a fierce Nant Conwy squad. The run of play should have resulted in a draw, but....... |
| 14th December 2003 | Congleton
Llandudno |
(W) 15 - 0
(W) |
A good game on a cold windy Sunday morning Wrexham battled hard against a keen Congleton side. Tries came from Christian Chalk, Jordan Davies and Dwayne Jones. A tough game for Wrexham against a very good Llandudno side. Dwayne Jones touched down and converted for Wrexham. Llandudno piled on the pressure, only fine tackling by Wrexham held them back. However their persistence paid off when they touched down close to the final whistle but were unable to covert. Wrexham held on to the end defending their narrow lead. A very good, challenging game for all. |
| 7th December 2003 | West Park St Helens |
(W) 26 - 19 |
West park took an early lead in the first ten minuets of the
game scoring 2 tries & converting 1. Then Christian Chalk made a good run to open
Wrexham's account with a well earned try converted by Dwayne Jones. Ashton Williams was next to cross the line in the second half to level the score, then Gareth Lloyd touched down to give Wrexham the lead Dwayne Jones converted then touched down to take Wrexham's tries to 4, converted by Ashton Williams. A determined west park run in a good try and conversion in the final minutes of the game. A very good account by both teams well done lads |
| 30th November 2003 | Denbigh | (W) 25 - 15 |
Wrexham got off to a slow start but
soon got their act together with 2 tries from a spirited Jack Griffiths Declan Simms forcing 1 over, Matthew Thomas and Gareth Lloyd adding one further try each. Coach Brian Jones was very pleased with the effort. |
| 12th October 2003 | Ruthin | (L) 12 - 0 |
A determined attacking Wrexham side were repeatedly repulsed by a good, well disciplined Ruthin squad. Firm tackling and some fine ball handling skills were evident on both sides however Ruthin proved the better on the day. Both sides showed good potential for the coming season. |
| 28th September 2003 | Rhyl | (W) 29 - 12 |
In their first full length game of the season Wrexham showed their true metal when they came back from 12- 0 down to storm to a 29 - 12 victory. Lewis Jones, Dwayne Jones, Christian Chalk, Jordan Davies and Ashton Williams each put one try down, Dwayne Jones converted two to compliment fine team work against a determined & disciplined Rhyl squad. "A pleasure of a match & certainly one to watch in the replay & coming years" commented Wrexham coach Brian Jones |
