10th November 2002 West Park
St Helens
(L)
14 - 42
Their best game played by Wrexham this season. But this was all in vain due to some interesting decisions going against Wrexham. The final score was 42-14 to West Park. Ashley Dawson 1, Shaun Strudwick 1, Nick Davies and Phil Davies with conversions. Shaun Strudwick won the tight head count 3-2. Man of the match was Richard Platt for his efforts, and unfortunately his try was one of Wrexham's efforts that were disallowed.
13th October 2002 Widnes (L)
35 - 56
A much improved performance this week. The boy's put in some good driving but once again the tackling let Wrexham down. The final score was 56-35 to Widnes. Ashley Dawson achieved a hat trick of tries with James Williams getting one, Phil Davies scored a try and converted all 5. Ashley Dawson was voted man of the match by the parent's.
6th October 2002 Abergele (L)
4 - 1
19 players turned out this Sunday to host Abergele. To make up numbers Wrexham loaned three players to Abergele. This was Wrexham's first game of the season and there were a lot of good individual efforts with good runs and tackling being made. Unfortunately the team did not manage to work as a unit and hence went down four tries to one. Philip Davies scored Wrexham's only try. No conversions were attempted. The Parents voted Ed Lewis as Man of the Match and he was presented with his  certificate after the game. We look forward to a much improved team effort next week when we play away to Widnes.
29th September 2002 North East Wales trials   Ashley Dawson and Philip Davies each scored against Denbighshire without reply. Shaun Strudwick won the tighthead count 2 - 0.

Wrexham(county) lost to Flintshire 7 - 0.
Shaun Strudwick won the tighthead 1 - 0.
