Wrexham played away to a very good Llandudno playing two games. In the first game wrexham won 42-21. A good team effort winning a lot of lose ball and dominating the contact area but a lot of missed tackles let Llandudno in for three tries. Wrexham's tries coming from William Mills, Niall Hillman, Rhys Edmonds-Jones, Will Smith and man of the match Rhys Pomeroy (2). caused problems with only one of Wrexham's backs
able to play. Wrexham played oswestry first winning this one 6 trys to nil tries coming from Will Smith (2), William Hanson (2), Alex Carter, and one for man of the match Joe Davies. Wrexham lost a very tight game to Mold by 2 tries to 1. With the game full of rucks and scrums Wrexham unable to get any quick clean ball to their backs even from the scrums? Wrexham's try coming from Joe Davies. |

against Wrexham U10's who gave a solid all round display. Denbigh scored the first try, but Wrexham came back and eventually won the game 9 - 1. Wrexham
came up against a very organised ruthin side this week.
In the first game despite starting the game very well and winning the contact area in the first ten minutes, Ruthin still scored two tries before the break. In the second half wrexham never got going again and lost the game 33 - 0. Man of the match was William Faragher with a great defencive display. In game two it was very much the same with wrexham fairing a little better going down 24 - 7 with a try from Rhys Pomeroy and conversion from Will Smith. Man of the match was Rhys Edmonds-Jones with an excellent game of rugby. |

Game 1 Wrexham won by 3 tries to nil. Sam Rogers opened scoring with a 30 meter break away try, then a tough forward encounter finally enabled Rhys Pomeroy to score from close range. The second half was very close with Pomeroy scoring a second. try scorers Sam Rogers 1 Rhys Pomeroy 2 Game 2 In a forward slog of a game, Wrexham conceeded too many penalties and were unable to put together any long term pressure on Denbigh. Missed tackles and high tackles allowed denbigh to stay in contention for much of the game even with 2 first half tries in the by Naill Hillman and William Hanson, one which was converted by Joe Davies. Denbigh stayed in touch with a converted try of their own. Wrexham made the game safe late into the second half when a pre planned move put centre Rhys Pomeroy in for the final try. Wrexham
under 10's had a successful day,winning all four of their group games and
then winning the final to be crowned champions. Game 1 Wrexham v Chester Wrexham won this game 2-1 with Rhys Pomeroy scoring both tries in a hard game with crunching tackles from Pomeroy and Will Smith. Game 2 Wrexham v Stoke A close game with niether side pulling away, Wrexham let Stoke in with some uncharacteristic missed tackles but still managed to win 4 - 3 with tries from Sam Rogers, Zak Dobie, Rhys Pomeroy and William Hanson. Game 3 Wrexham v Mold With two wins under their belt wrexham were able to relax a bit, thay played some good rugby to win 4-1, tries coming from star man Rhys Pomeroy 3, and one for Will Smith. Game 4 Wrexham v Denbigh Wrexham won this game 7 - 1and as in the last game were able to rest some players in the second half, try scorers were Alex Carter, Sam Rogers 2, Joe Davies, Rhys Pomeroy 2, and James Sandford. The Final Wrexham v Caldy Wrexham were up against a strong and well organised Caldy side, but managed to get on top with some strong running and flawless tackling and were soon 2 - 0 upwith tries from Sam Rogers and William Mills. Caldy pulled one back after the break but wrexham held on to win the game 2 - 1 A great team effort. A great day. Well Done. |
